How to Start A Daily Manifestation Routine

February 28, 2021 by Kimora Chanel

Do you believe in the power of manifestation? If not, well you should consider changing that. Manifestation is such a powerful tool and skill to have. Mainly because with this power you are almost guaranteed to get everything your heart desires. So long as you are willing to be open to the experience that will unfold so that you receive what is destined to be yours.

Now before I hype this skill up anymore more than what I already am, I want to make something very clear about the power of manifestation. Yes, manifesting can help you create the life that you love, and attract all the things in life that you desire much faster than not doing it. However, doing so does not mean you stop putting in all the hard work to get it. You still have to make a commitment to work towards all the things you want in life.

Manifestation just helps to keep you focused on what matters most, and will guide you directly to where you need to be. Think of manifestation like a giant puzzle. Your greatest desires are the millions of little puzzle pieces, while the life you want for yourself is the finished picture. Actively working towards the life that you desire is you putting those pieces in their rightful place. Manifestation is the glue that helps keep all the pieces together in their individual places.

There is a lot of inner and outer work that comes with the act of manifesting, but it’s a routine that makes all the difference in how you receive something that is meant for you. I’ve been practicing a daily manifestation routine for the past two months, and I’ve seen such a huge difference in all areas of my life.

It is because of the amazing benefits I’m am receiving from manifesting that I wanted to share with you my best tips for starting a daily manifestation routine, as well as how this practice can change your life for the better. [Read more…]

What to Do to Have A Positive Period Experience Every Month

February 22, 2021 by Kimora Chanel

Ladies. We all know what’s it like to have a certain visitor come once a month, and have to make her feel extremely comfortable and welcomed for the next 5-7 days. It can be very exhausting, uncomfortable for us, and of course unwanted the majority of the time that she is here.

But, it’s a part of life and it’s something that we as women unfortunately have to deal with monthly. I’m talking about our periods, and how once a month dear sweet Mother Nature comes to visit with no promises of not making the next couple of days a living hell for us. Ladies you know exactly what I’m talking about. It can be hard living our best life when we are on our period.

There are so many things to take into consideration about what we can and cannot do or even wear when this time of the month comes. We even struggle with engaging in activities that are comfortable on our bodies but also helpful for the various symptoms of PMS.

And don’t even get me started on the fatigue! Fatigue is such a major factor for us when we are on our periods, and ultimately it motivates us to want to literally do nothing the entire time we are on our period! I get it ladies trust me I do. However, if there is anything that I have learned over the recent years about how to have a better period experience, it’s that there are specific things you should do to help make this time of the month a much more comfortable experience for yourself.

I promise these activities and tips are completely life changing for your period experience, and will ultimately help you have a more positive period experience. So, let’s get into it.

How Being Selfish Can Be Good for Your Self-Care Practices

February 14, 2021 by Kimora Chanel

Selfishness. Is it good or is it bad? We are taught to view it as something bad, something that we should choose not to be so that it will not negatively reflect our character. But what if I told you that being selfish is actually a good thing? What if I told you that by choosing not to be selfish is negatively impacting your health? What if I told you that when you choose to not be selfish, you’re robbing yourself of true happiness?

Would this change your perspective on what it means to be selfish?

To be honest yes, there are times and moments when we should not be selfish. There are moments when it does negatively reflect upon our character, and it clearly states what our morals and values are. Entitlement my friend, is never a good look. However, if you’re being selfish for the sake of loving yourself unconditionally, then by all means be selfish!

In this sense it does not reflect negatively on your character. If anything, it’s a reassuring sign of what your true morals and values are, and even more importantly what your mindset is like. Being selfish doesn’t always have to have a negative connotation to it. It took me years to understand this. In honor of vowing to be more selfish and love myself more, here are my top reasons why selfishness can sometimes be ok.

How to Meal Plan for an Entire Month

February 8, 2021 by Kimora Chanel

Today I have a guest post written by the lovely Jessica. Jessica is an entrepreneur, aspiring chef, master of kitchen efficiency, organization lover, and meal planning enthusiast. Be sure to check out her blog at Blend with Style to stay in the know about all things food related!

We’ve all been there. Dinnertime is on the horizon, yet both your brain and stomach are completely drained from a day of meetings, calls, or watching Frozen for the seven hundredth time. The idea of dreaming up a tasty meal much less preparing one from scratch is just too much.

Delivery anyone?

In moments like these, you need a plan. But not just any plan, you need a detailed, scalable lifestyle enhancing meal plan. Whether you’ve never heard of meal planning or are a seasoned weekly meal planning pro, I’ve worked out a thirty-day flexible system that helps put the plan in meal planning.

Better yet, you only have to do the grunt work once a month.

Here’s how to do it.

The Right Way to Set Weight Loss Goals

February 1, 2021 by Kimora Chanel

Something that has always been such a giant question mark to me is why people put so much value, and draw so much attention to an individual’s weight. From a medical perspective I can understand 100% why anybody’s weight would be an important topic of discussion. Outside of that, I will never understand why.

Of course, there are countless society pressures and influences that draw our attention to what it does or does not mean to be healthy. Unfortunately, outside of what your body looks like, as a society we tend to determine health by a person’s weight. An assumed weight that is, since of course we are all conditioned to look at specific body types and assume that they may or may not be carrying a healthy weight.

This drives me insane because with the sometimes-toxic perspective that we as a society hold about what a healthy weight/body type looks like (especially for women), it often drives people to want to lose weight for all the wrong reasons.

Just to clarify, I do 100% believe in everyone having the right to do whatever it is that they want and are comfortable with doing with their bodies. That goes for men and women.

What bothers me is when anyone’s reasoning behind a weight loss goal is strictly influenced based on society’s views and definition of what is healthy and beautiful. When you allow society to tell you that your body type is equal to an unhealthy weight, and you create weight loss goals based on what society has told you (and not your doctor), this can make it very hard for you to achieve your goals.

If weight loss is a goal of yours, something that you have been striving to achieve for a while, or maybe just something you are considering doing just to feel more confident in your own skin, this post is for you.

As a health and wellness coach who wholeheartedly supports caring for all areas of your health in a safe, supportive, and holistic way, here is the right way to set weight loss goals (if you want to be successful with doing so). [Read more…]
