I’m so excited that it’s February!
I’ll be honest, starting this new year making my health and wellness a priority was very intimidating in the beginning. However, now that January has come and gone, and I’ve completed my January 2020 Challenge, I can honestly say I’ve never been more excited to see where my health journey will take me next!
It’s no secret that I love working out.
For me it’s never been about my appearance, but always about the way it makes me feel. When I exercise, I always feel energized, much happier, way less fatigued, and stronger than I was the day before. I also find inspiration and motivation to tackle anything life throws my way!
That’s why the next chapter of my health and wellness journey I’m choosing to really focus on increasing all these positive benefits that come from exercising. Mainly because I want to have an endless amount of energy (is that possible?).
In other words, I want to only feel tired because I know I worked my ass off for the day, and therefore only rest when I absolutely need it. I want this and so much more for my overall health, and I’m making this month the official start of it all!
So how I am going to do this? By committing to the PIIT28 and 28 Day Rest Program.

What is PIIT28?
PIIT28 is a Pilates Intense Interval Training Program. It was created by fitness instructor Cassey Ho. The overall goal? To help you become your fittest self in just 28 minutes a day.
This is not an easy program! I’ll just be honest.
But, if your goal is to tone your body, lose weight, or improve your stamina, while increasing your confidence, then this program was made for you.
I discovered this program many years ago and instantly fell in love with it! At the time, working out consistently was such a huge struggle for me, and I didn’t have the motivation nor the discipline needed to get through the program. I essentially started it, made it a whole week, then quit.
Last year when exercising became more of a routine for me I would incorporate the PIIT28 program into my workouts every so often, but it still wasn’t consistent. Now that working out has become a healthy habit for me, I want to revisit this program and continue the journey of improving my health!
What is the 28 Day Reset?
I love, love, love this book!
This is another creation by Cassey, and unlike the PIIT28 program, the 28 Day Reset is actually a very well put together cookbook.
However, this is not like most cookbooks. The 28 Day Reset includes tons of recipes that will help you do the following things:
- clean out your body
- discover your food intolerances and sensitivities
- help your body become more lean
- increase your energy
The best part is that this is not just a cookbook, it’s a 28-day challenge. Which means for the course of 28 days, you will eat very specific foods that are included in the book, in addition to exercising at least 6 days out of the week, to help you improve your overall health.
Much like the PIIT28 program, the 28 Day Reset was something that I discovered years ago and was not in the right frame of mind at the time to really commit to the challenge. Well, it’s a new day, I’m a much better version of who I am, and I know that this is the next step on my health and wellness journey.

What does this mean for me?
Well that depends on what your health, wellness, and fitness goals may be, as well as where you are on your health and wellness journey.
As mentioned earlier if your goals are to lose weight, tone your body, eliminate acne, feel less fatigue, increase your energy, improve your stamina, or just improve your overall health in general, this may be something that can help you achieve those goals.
I’m committing to doing the PIIT28 and 28 Day Reset together.
This is because I want to improve my eating habits, tone my body, and honestly lose a little bit of weight in the process. Again, my health and wellness journey is not about how I look physically, but how I feel. And right now, even though I feel good, I know I can feel better.
Therefore, naturally this is the next step for me on my journey. And it could be for you.
While the 28 Day Reset is more of a 28-day challenge, there are also things you have to commit to eliminating from your diet for 28 days if you want to actually see results. This includes dairy, gluten, added sugar, processed food, and alcohol.
As a bonus, all the recipes included in the book abide by these rules.
When I first discovered these resources, and revisited them, these were the three questions I asked myself in order to know whether or not the PIIT28 program or 28 Day Reset way right for me. You may find that these questions can help you decided whether either of these tools may be right for you.
- Have I reached a plateau in my workouts and am no longer seeing results?
- Am I having a hard time losing weight?
- Am I doing everything that I can to better my health overall?
If you answer “yes” to question number one, and “no” to the other two, then this program/challenge may be something that you want to consider. Not only will they help you push past that plateau, but they will help you lose weight, and they will improve your overall health for the better!

What you need to know about PIIT28 and the 28 Day Reset
As I embark on this next chapter in my health and wellness journey, I also want to do my best to help you with yours. No matter where you are on your journey there is always something more for you to accomplish and improve on.
But you shouldn’t just jump into doing something without knowing as much as you possibly can about the situation you are about to get into. I made this mistake years ago and it resulted in complete failure!
That’s why I’m going to share with you my personal pros and cons about both, the PIIT28 program and the 28 Day Reset, so that you know all that you need to know about each, and can better decide if this may be the next step for you.

PIIT28 Cons
I was not able to get through the program on my first attempt, but doing it ever so often this past year I can honestly say that I don’t really have anything negative to say about this program except that
- Honestly just that it’s challenging!
28 Day Reset Pros

Conclusion
It can be hard to know what the next step on your health and wellness journey may be. Sometimes it can even be hard to know when it’s time to take that next step. That’s why every month at the end of the month I ask myself these three questions (as stated above):
- Have I reached a plateau in my workouts and am no longer seeing results?
- Am I having a hard time losing weight?
- Am I doing everything that I can to better my health overall?
Literally if I answer “yes”, “no”, “no” (in that order) I know it’s time to move on.
Since completing the 2020 challenge I’m ready to take that next step to further improve my health. That next step for me is committing to the PIIT28 program as well as the 28 Day Reset challenge.
I am going to be doing this simultaneously for the sole purpose of challenging myself in my workouts, improving my eating habits, toning my body, and feeling so much better in my own skin overall.
If this is something that you feel you are ready to do, I invite you to join me!
You can purchase the PIIT28 program by clicking right here.
You can purchase the 28 Day Reset by clicking here.
Also please know that you do not have to do both of these programs at the same time (or really either one of them) to move forward on your journey. You can do just one of them all on their own and you will still see improvements in your health overall.
Just know that if you choose to only do the 28 Day Reset, you will need to incorporate at least 6 days of exercise for the course of 28 days, if you want to see results.
This is the next step for me and I’m so excited to finally work my way through this program, and the 28-day challenge! I’m getting one step closer to reaching all my health, wellness, and fitness goals.
Where are you currently on your health and wellness journey? What may be the next step for you? Let’s talk about it.
