Raise your hand if you are ready to change your life mentally, physically, and emotionally! This is all for the better of course š.
If you are one of these people, looking to change your life, you are not alone. A big passion of mines has always been pursuing a healthy lifestyle. That of course looks different for everyone, and if you ask me there is no right or wrong way to live a healthy lifestyle. For me a healthy lifestyle is one in which you are happy with where you are in your life, you feel strong and beautiful in your own skin, and you are conscious of how you are treating your body.
I define being healthy as being happy.
Pursuing a healthy lifestyle doesnāt always mean that you have to be working out consistently and practicing clean eating. It can mean something as simple as just doing the things in life that make you happy and paying attention to the direct impact the things you are doing is having on your overall health. Lately I have been getting back into the groove of working out (and Iām loving it!), and something that I have noticed for myself personally is that what Iām doing to my body, and what I am fueling my body with, has had a big influence in how I maintain a healthy lifestyle.
For starters I think I should note that I am not a fitness guru, nor am I a nutritionist expert. On top of nutrition, while I try to eat as clean as I possibly can in spite of a lot of factors that get in the way of that from time to time (like financial responsibilities), I am a very picky eater. So a lot of clean eating foods I have personally discovered, I am not going to eat. Therefore, I try to eat clean by simply avoiding gluten, grease and the likes, as often as I possibly can. (I think I should also note that I am not the best person to ask advice about when it comes to clean eating). This for me means that I try to eat a lot of home cooked meals throughout the day instead of relying on pre-made foods, or fast food.
With that being said Iād like to share a little bit of my pervious relationship with exercising and clean eating. For the longest time I have always told myself that I wanted to be able to commit to a regular workout routine. Iāve been telling myself this since I was about 13 years old. I didnāt want to do it for anyone or anything else, I just wanted to be able to say that I took care of myself from the inside out. Well, my previous relationship with working out is as follows:
- Get into the groove of working out
- Maintain that workout routine for a couple of weeks
- Get your period for the month
- Give up on working out because you didnāt work out for the 7 days that you were on your period so the motivation to continue is gone
Seriously guys Iām not even kidding when I tell you this is what my relationship with working out looked like when I was just a teenager trying to figure this thing we call life out. Itās been like this since I was about 16 years old! Now Iām in my mid 20s and I would really like to change that relationship and most importantly change my mindset that getting my period should be the biggest reason I no longer commit to consistently working out. I know this is easier said than done, but this past year I have found a solution to all of my exercise problems.
This past year I have been taking my workout routine to the next level. When I say this, I donāt mean I finally broke down and got a gym membership (although one time I really did), or that I decided to invest in one of those really expensive at home gyms (never in a million years). When I say that this past year I have been taking my workout routine to the next level, I mean I have been challenging myself more physically and mentally.

In 2015 I discovered Blogilates. What is Blogilates? Well Iām glad you asked! Blogilates is a blog about health and fitness. The mastermind behind it all? Cassey Ho. Now what I love about Cassey and the Blogilates family/community is that it was created as community specifically all about supporting one another to live your most fulfilled life possible. How do you do this? By working out with Cassey every single day (or whenever you choose to) and knowing with full confidence that she doesnāt expect anything of you except to just give it a try, and to try your best.
Even if that means you only complete 5 squats out of 20 Cassey has challenged you to do.
To me Cassey is the perfect life coach, and the most motivating workout guru who has slowly been changing my life for the better since 2015. I have been on and off with completing her workouts because as mentioned above, I find the motivation but then I lose it. once itās lost itās very hard to find that motivation again. Plus, on top of that, guys Cassey is a beast! Which means while her workout routines are simple and manageable they are also very hard! However, this year Iāve really been kicking my butt into gear when it comes to working out. Iāve been committing to some of the hardest videos she posts on YouTube, and Iāve been stepping out of my boundaries more by taking on her monthly workout calendars as of lateā¦or doing as much of them as I possibly can. Again, her workouts are simple and manageable but hard as hell!
When it comes to working out Cassey lives by the motto āslow and steady wins the race.ā We all know what that means, go at your own pace and you will be successful no matter what. This past year thatās exactly what I have been doing. Iāve been committing to completing at least two workout videos every month, and letting my momentum slowly grown from there. At the start of this year I finally did the one thing Iāve been wanting to do since I learned about this amazing, life changing, workout routine.
I purchased the PIIT28 Transformation Pack!
Now Iām sure youāre wondering what the PIIT28 Transformation Pack is, so Iām going to break it down for you. No worries!
The PIIT28 Transformation Pack consists of the following:
- PIIT 1.0
- PIIT 2.0
- PIIT 3.0
- 28 Day Reset
First let me explain to you what PIIT28 is. PIIT28 is an intense 28-minute workout routine. Or as Cassey likes to put it ā28 minutes to your fittest self.ā This PIIT workout consists of four major components:
- Pilates
- Intense
- Interval
- Training
PIIT28 = Pilates Intense Interval Training designed to help you lose fat and gain confidence!
PIIT28 is designed to help you get the most of your workout in just 28 minutes a day! The 28 Day Reset is a guide designed to help you practice clean eating for a full 28 days. Cassey knows that the way we eat is responsible for the way we feel. That is why she created The 28 Day Reset, and since Iām committing to a healthier lifestyle thatās the reason I have invested in The 28 Day Reset as well š. The benefits of the 28 Day Reset are that it resets your body in order for you to discover what your food intolerances are, what is causing you to bloat, what is causing you to have acne, it will help you have more energy throughout the day, and so much more!
The most important thing is that this is not a diet! Itās a lifestyle change for only 28 days!
Since discovering PIIT28 I have been more motivated than ever to kick my healthy lifestyle into gear, and more importantly to just commit to it!
Starting this month, I am finally going to take on the PIIT28 challenge! That means I am going to commit to working out 6 days a week for 28 days straight, while doing my best to practice clean eating. The thought alone is very scary but I know that I can do it. Cassey challenges those who are a part of the Blogilates family/community. She challenges us because she believes in us. I know that itās a challenge work taking because it will change my life mentally, physically, and emotionally for the better!
PIIT28 here I come, and I hope you will come on this journey with me!
